Juan "SAUCY" Peña is a recording and mixing engineer based out of the New York City Metropolitan area. Juan started his career in the music industry by the Music Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College where he began to learn about studio recording and the art of mixing. While at Purchase Juan also studied various aspects of composition and music theory which allowed him to develop a well rounded ear in a variety of genres of music. Before graduating Juan had an opportunity to learn hands on at the legendary Daddy's House Recording Studios which operated under the ownership of Sean "Diddy" Combs. Here he continued to perfect his skills by observing top engineers working on an commercial tracks and occasionally taking over projects when needed. Currently Juan resides at Area 51 NYC Studios which is located in midtown manhattan and continues to work with the great variety of talent that cycles through this location.
